Are You Ready to Alchemize Your Life?

I am forever grateful that I reached out to Krista. She has not only been a friend, but she has become a beacon of light for me, my soul, & my future! “
— Jamie Slifka-Tragle

After reading “The Alchemist” by Paulo Coelho, I was so drawn to the concept of alchemy. Not the concept of alchemy as “magic,” but the concept that we are all capable of being modern day alchemists. We all have the capacity to change the parts of our lives that aren’t working, one mis-belief at a time!

What is alchemy?

Alchemy is the process of letting go of the “lead” in our heart, body, mind, emotions, thoughts and way of being. It is the process of turning lead into gold. The Alchemist’s Toolbox contains spiritual tools and concepts to turn thoughts such as anger, upset, abandonment, disappointment, fear etc. into love, forgiveness, joy, courage, intuition, compassion, soul connection, and finding your life’s purpose.

Who would benefit from the Alchemist’s Toolbox?

If you have ever used the sentence “I am upset because…” or “they did that to me…” or “It’s not my fault, it’s theirs...” or “There is no way I can achieve X,Y,Z goal.,” then you could use a dose of what I like to call Heart Alchemy!

How does alchemy work?

Every time you let go of a fear based, unloving, hurtful thought, heart alchemy is at work. Anytime you forgive yourself and others, your heart becomes more golden, light-filled and sparkly! The more golden your heart, the more light you have to share with the world! The more you shine your light, the closer you come to fulfill your life's purpose, and the more joyful your life becomes.

How can heart alchemy assist me in career and finances?

The only thing stopping you from having your dream job and that full bank account is YOU! Growing up, we are all influenced by our parents, family and societal beliefs. For example, as a child I heard this phrase over and over, "To be successful you have to work hard."

Cut to forty years later and I've had to "work hard" to get over the belief that "work" has to be "hard." That belief kept me in so many jobs, marriages, and situations that I felt I had to stay in because they were hard, and that's what success looks like. It was like a badge of honor to have to overcome hardship so that in the end the success was more respected. When I got to the bottom of this deep seeded belief, I realized that I was constantly calling in "hard" work situations in order to feel successful.  If something came too easy, I pushed it aside as not a worthy enough success because I didn't have to work hard to get it?

Get it? That mis-belief kept me in a work cycle that was starting to dishearten me, because at my core, I am all about ease, grace, Spirit, connection, Angels, love, compassion and service.  Those words seem the opposite of "hard" to me. Therefore, in the past I deemed them as unworthy or not a successful way of being. Too from-frou to be taken seriously. However, this was cutting me off from my essence.  My true divine feminine qualities were being hidden away and suffocated and of course a sense of doom and gloom was always looming. As I have stepped more fully into my true gifts of intuition, coaching, and service, my life has started to flow with abundance in all aspects. I now lead a balanced life of purpose driven playtime (work), quality time with my family and friends, and time for spiritual connection through exercise/meditating/ journaling/fun classes/reading etc. My "job" has become enjoying life!!!

“This is why alchemy exists," the boy said. "So that everyone will search for his treasure, find it, and then want to be better than he was in his former life. Lead will play its role until the world has no further need for lead; and then lead will have to turn itself into gold. That's what alchemists do. They show that, when we strive to become better than we are, everything around us becomes better, too.” ~Paulo Coelho, The Alchemist
